Early access via Patreon

I’m launching my Patreon page today, and have published my next article on there.

The article talks about the latest research on immune rejuvenation which nearly doubled mice lifespans, the health effects of rising carbon dioxide levels, quercetin’s ability to upregulate SIRT6 to improve DNA repair, why you should be learning and using more languages, and significant health benefits of taurine supplementation and root canals.

The process I’ve been using until now for content development is to write the article first, then record and edit the video, which can take a while, and then release both the article and video together.

Going forward, the articles will be released to Patreon as soon as they’re ready, on the “Early access” tier. The timing of the public article and video release doesn’t change – they still end up on this website and YouTube on the same day as always.

Patreon has a few benefits for you and I:

  • My articles get seen sooner, I don’t like the feeling of sitting on good information that can help people
  • I might get pocket money
  • You can get a mobile app that gives you notifications when I post
  • Some content is paid but the non-video stuff makes it there too, like quick reads and updates, so it gives you another free way to follow me
  • The website and app lets us have a community chat room as well as direct messaging
  • I’ll post on there about in-progress content, while only the completed works get posted elsewhere

I have a lot of articles and other things in development at the moment, and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you.
